Center Medallion " The House Block"

House Block measures 24" by 24" Finished

(House block will measure 24 1/2" by 24 1/2" before sewing into quilt!)

Background fabric for this block is also included in the yardage for background above!

For roof piece, take the 5 1/2" squares (AZ) and mark a diagonal line through the center. This is your sewing line.

With right sides together sew the squares to the E section as shown below.

Trim to a 1/4" seam and press forward. You now have your roof pieced!

For the remainder of your block, using the sample above with the letters, sew your pieces together to make your house block.

This is a very simple block to make. Always use a 1/4" seam and press towards the dark side.

You now have the center medallion finished for the Neighborhood Kidz block!

Now all you have to do is add a Kidz block every month as they are published!
